you know me i just can't help but fall in love with all the smallest things, moby duck trinket boxes included. the handmade resin rabbits come in a fruit bowl of colours lemon, apricot, cherry red and watermelon pink to name a few. i stumbled across the bunnies on the sunniest stroll just yesterday. obviously they weren't hiding in street lined bushes but on a shelf tucked away at the back of the most dear store i have encountered in a long while. ramona tienda i promised you a return, i hope we can be friends?! at least for the sake of the furry creatures i am now so fond of.

it's absolutely almost christmas

oh hello. salmon poached in champagne, tato salad, elderflower cocktails and stemmed cherry pud on the table has me thinking i would be lying if i said it wasn't beginning to feel a lot like christmas!? the high spirits menu can be found here on tasmanian foodie and photo blog island menu. there really isn't anything more cheery then a round-up of family and friends and a fully bellie now is there? fa.la.la.la.la. it's absolutely almost christmas lunch.

dear blogger thatscharm sprinkled her sparkle and opened my eyes to a lovelie little group of girlies whom pride themselves on being oh so joyful!! these lassies skip hand-in-hand, laugh from the bottom of their bellies, blow bubbles as big as their heads and paint the sky with giant smiles. i'm tickled pink thatscharm would think of me as such a daydreamer of all things impossibly possible. please, won't you say you too believe in mermaid seas and talking trees? everyday is a surprise if your a joy girl...

the three marketeers

last sunday we took a trip to the camberwell markets my brother, his dear gal and i. it was cold and early, eyes were rubbed many a times and mouths opened wide and even wider with tiredness. but we rummaged and we found and we had such a lovelie time together. good things come in three i guess, if nothing else good luck on a market day. we left feeling rather chuffed with our treasures.

 a travelling caravan = dream. dream. dream.

and a tutti-frutti woolly jumper we purchased for a dime. i say we, as the dear (gal) adelle and i plan to swap the warm wearable back and forth between our hometowns. the jumper will fly with a small note detailing its escapades each time the button-up is returned to the other.

a bookworm's dream, these Penguin classics are all wrapped up in hand embroidered covers sketched and stitched by creative Jillian Tamaki. uh-huh, the read and re-read again pages would make extra special stocking fillers this merry season. i'm particularly bright-eyed and bushy-tailed over the Black Beauty handcraft. a fan of the tele series when i was a small little girlie i am yet to of read the paperback. however my fondness for a straw hat and a full skirt gives me an inkling i'd much enjoy the words that lie beneath the cover. perhaps for Christmas?! oh and look, i've even a link here to make your gift shopping easy-peasy.
