p.s. i made this

i think this kitty loafer DIY from clever kitten, p.s. i made this is simply the cat's meow! puffy paint + glue gun fun = the purrrfect excuse for a craft store excursion and a lets-do-craft cupboard restock.

hello, hello sandwich.

friends! my number one favourite mt loving, pom-pom glueing, paper fan making blogger, Ebony Bizys is coming to Melbourne and she's bringing her craft cupboard (well, all that will fit in her polka dot suitcase)! and if that news itself doesn't make you do cartwheels, she's hosting her very own Hello Fabric and Hello Paper workshops. seats are as limited as musical chairs so slowpokes will be left standing surly. if you wish to join me in sewing a kitsch cushion cover and a mini pocket tissue case click here and QUICKLY!! see you soon, Hello Sandwich!

now my life is sweet like taffy

loook!! over here, up-up, above!! i stitched this sweet as sherbet coloured case. isn't it just dear? too dear to pop into your bag out of sight. i'm quite partial to keeping it within sticky fingertips reach at all times. ooh, and the bits and bobbles it can carry (coins, candy, cosmetics, candy). do you fancy a tutorial on how to sew up a (lolly) bag for yourself and a friend? i'm almost certain my housemate won't mind a bit sharing her thread and machine ways with you and your belongings. in fact, bribe her with some toffee and she'll be as good as gumdrop jellies!!
let me know won't you?? Jessie xx

knot. over. under

i've always wanted to high five those crafty people who so kindly wrap trees and benches and posts around and about town in delightfully woolly stitches. so it seems, i might just be able to give them all a 'you make my heart go giddy-up' pat on the back. hooking the whole city into a giant granny square installation Yarn Corner are hosting Melbourne's biggest yarn bombing project this calendar weekend. there will be how-to crochet workshops and other yarn bombing tips and bits for all us loop, swoop and pull enthusiasts to join. it's true, i'm a tinsy bit excited. all the fluffy details can be found here. isn't it nice the thought of twirling twine while the sun still shines?! what a ball!
